3 on 3 hockey is a unique opportunity that improves overall skill and game strategy by challenging players both offensively and defensively. Players will work on their skating, shooting, and knowledge of the game all while having fun.

Age Divisions

Novice - Born in 2011 and 2010
Atom - Born in 2009 and 2008
Pee Wee - Born in 2007 and 2006
Bantam - Born in 2005 and 2004
Midget - Born in 2001, 2002, 2003

Schedule Information

  • Games Guaranteed: 10 regular season games (no playoffs)
  • All games are played at the Co-operators Centre
  • Game times will vary each week and will start as early as 5:00 pm
  • Teams will play approximately once a week; depending on the number of teams in the division, there may be bye weeks
  • Each age category will be divided into two to four tiers, based on the total number of teams registered and to ensure divisional competitiveness
  • Game schedules will be available online, a minimum of one week in advance
  • Season schedule will be released in three or four sections, this allows league staff to evaluate teams throughout the season and adjust divisions accordingly 

Game Days

  • Novice - Monday and/or Tuesday
  • Atom - Monday and/or Tuesday
  • Pee Wee - Wednesday (some Tuesday and/or Thursday)
  • Bantam - Thursday (some Wednesday)
  • Midget - Thursday (some Wednesday)

* There may be 1-2 exceptions based on ice availability and registration numbers (including potential Sunday games).
* If you have specific scheduling requests for your team, please let us know at the time of registration. We cannot accept individual schedule requests at this time.

Registration Process 

  • All team and player registrations are done online. 
  • Team Registrations - the coach or team manager must register the team online then all players must complete the player registration online for their team (no later than Sunday, March 24). Coaches - you will also need to register your child for the team. 
  • Individual or Free Agent Registrations - if your child does not have a team to play on, you can register them as an individual registration and they will be placed on a team. We do accept friend requests but players must be the same age division and skill level. Please limit your request to a maximum of 2 friends.
  • If your child is playing full time on multiple teams, you will need to complete seperate registrations for each team.
  • If you are having trouble completing the online registration on your mobile device, please try on a computer if possible.

* Deposit required is half the team registration fee, remaining fees must be paid no later than the first game. Coaches can either collect payment from each player on their team OR players can pay the league directly and once 5 players have paid, the team's spot will be guaranteed

Register your team and pay your deposit before Friday, February 22 and be entered to win 1 of 5 team pizza parties in the Western Pizza Lounge, located on the 2nd floor of the Co-operators Centre (1 winning team per age division)

Submitting Payments

Payments can be made online at the time of registration with Visa or MasterCard (sorry we cannot accept Visa Debit online). 

We do also accept the following payments in person at the Information Desk in the Co-operators Centre:
Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Debit, Cash or Cheque (payable to Evraz Place). We do not accept post-dated cheques.
Service charges will be applied to all NSF payments
No refunds or credits will be given for missed games.

Additional Information

  • 2 referees will be scheduled for each game in all age divisions (depending on availability of officials)
  • Teams will have 9 skaters and 1 goalie (novice and atom divisions can have 10 players and rotate playing goal). If you do not have a full team, please contact Dan. 
  • All players receive a free ball cap and a team jersey to keep
  • Female teams may be formed if there are enough females in each division; co-ed teams are welcome
  • All registered players receive insurance covering on-ice accidents.
  • Participants have a chance to win prizing through the Bauer 3 on 3 Hockey League Facebook page
  • Novice is 2 x 15 minute run-time periods.
  • Atom to Midget is 2 x 20 minute run-time periods.

Coaches

Volunteer coaches are needed. Minimum requirements are to provide a criminal record check/vulnerable sector check prior to participating in the league (must be valid within 1 year) and have an undertstanding of the league rules and regulations. You must bring our criminal record check letter with you to the Regina City Police Station.
